ACROSS COLORADO—A bull elk spotted walking around in the woods with a tire around its neck has caught the attention of Colorado Park and Wildlife. Rangers said they are hoping to free the elk of the tire - but locating him hasn't been easy.
"We would love to catch up with him and free him of that tire," the agency said in a recent tweet.
According to rangers, the elk was last spotted on a wildlife camera with the tire around its neck on July 12 near Conifer.
