Fort Lupton Firefighters Rescue Kittens Trapped In Storm Drain

FORT LUPTON, Colo. (CBS4) – A mother cat found herself and her kittens in quite a predicament last week. They were stuck in a storm drain.

Fortunately for the furry family, that drain was outside the Weld County Sheriff’s Office substation in that town.

The fire department swung by to help remove the steel covering the drain and animal control rescued the cat and her litter of kittens.
