Gov. Polis Quarantines After COVID Exposure

Statement from governor's office does not say when exposure occurred.

Gov. Jared Polis is in quarantine after he was exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

News of the Colorado governor’s exposure came Wednesday evening in a brief statement from his office. The statement said Polis took a test Wednesday evening and that the test was negative. It did not say when the exposure occurred or where. It did not identify the person who had tested positive.

Polis will be “closely monitored, and will be re-tested in the coming days,” the statement said.
