COLORADO -- Colorado women make an average of $812 per week compared to men at $967 per week, according to a recent report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The report found that women in Colorado earn 84 percent of what men usually earn in a week.

Vermont had the highest women's-to-men's earnings ratio at 90.2 percent, while Utah had the lowest, 69.9 percent, according to the federal agency.

Nationwide, women earned $749 per week or 81.9 percent of the $915 average weekly salary for men.

The report showed weekly earnings among women ranged from $624 in Mississippi to $1,117 in the District of Columbia.
