ACROSS COLORADO—The daughter of President Donald Trump will visit Colorado this Thursday and Friday to highlight the administration's conservation and affordable child care efforts, the White House announced Wednesday.
On Thursday morning, Trump, who serves as an adviser to her father, will visit Rocky Mountain National Park to highlight the Great American Outdoors Act. She will be joined by Interior Secretary David Bernhardt, a Colorado native.
“The Great American Outdoors Act will address the nearly $20 billion in deferred maintenance backlog at national parks and other public lands which will allow for repairs to roads, bridges, park facilities, visitor centers, and more,” said Colorado native and U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner.

“I am looking forward to visiting the great state of Colorado and learning how this administration’s policies are helping citizens across the state," Trump said in a statement.
This is not Trump's first visit to Colorado since her father was elected president. In July 2019, she visited Lockheed Martin in Littleton to discuss workforce development. In May 2019, she held a private meeting with Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock following a deadly school shooting at a local charter school.
