CO State Primary Election 2022: Jeffco Ballot Return Report, Deadlines
More than 50,000 ballots have been returned so far in Jefferson County ahead of the state primary, elections officials said.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Colorado's primary election is just around the corner — June 28 — and Jefferson County voters had already returned more than 50,000 ballots as of Monday, according to George Stern, the county's clerk and recorder.
Here's the ballot return report for the county:
- From registered Democrats: 18,849 ballots returned
- From registered Republicans: 14,113 ballots returned
- From unaffiliated voters: 17,745 ballots returned (49 percent chose the Democratic ballot; 51 percent chose the Republican ballot)
Monday was the last day to return your ballot by mail to ensure it arrives in time, and the first day in-person vote centers opened. The Jeffco Elections division must receive ballots by 7 p.m. June 28, and postmarks don't count, officials said. You can use a 24-hour secure drop box up until 7 p.m.

- June 27: Voters are encouraged to take a look behind the scenes by joining a virtual tour at 1 p.m. of the Jeffco Elections ballot processing center. Information about the tour will be posted on Facebook, so check the page for a link Monday morning, officials said.
- June 28: Election Day. You can use any drop box up until 7 p.m., or if you need additional services (such as registering to vote or getting a replacement ballot), you can use any vote center up until 7 p.m. as well, elections officials said.
Jeffco's in-person voter service and polling centers are open for accessible voting services, a replacement ballot, casting your ballot or registering to vote for the first time.
