Invest In Arvada: Holiday Gift Ideas From Local, Small Businesses

ARVADA, CO — Arvadans are known for supporting their local small businesses, but in the rush of the holiday season, it can be all too easy to rely on a quick click of a button for a delivery from a retail giant.

That's why Invest in Arvada, a campaign from the Arvada Resiliency Taskforce, has released a holiday gift guide.

Because Arvada businesses hire local workers and contribute taxes locally, $100 spent at local shops and restaurants generates $45 of secondary local spending, the task force said. Big box chains only contribute $14 of secondary local spending.
