• Several Denver-area gas stations pumped contaminated fuel this week, King Soopers warns (dailycamera.com) — Drivers in Arvada should avoid filling up at the King Soopers gas station on Candelas Parkway after state officials confirmed contaminated fuel was distributed there this week. Diesel was mistakenly mixed into unleaded gas sent to multiple Denver-area stations, and King Soopers says affected pumps are shut down while they diagnose the problem. Customers who suspect they bought bad fuel are urged to contact their local store for help.
