The City of Arvada offers several drop-sites to recycle Christmas trees free of charge.

ARVADA, CO – Christmas is over, the New Year is here. School starts next week and ... what are you going to do with that live Christmas tree?
The City of Arvada has three drop-sites to recycle Christmas trees free of charge.
Remove all lights, decorations and tinsel, and please don't drop off branches or trees downed by a Christmas wind storm. Please make sure the tree is free of nails and wire to keep city staff free from injury. The recycling program locations do not accept garlands, wreaths, or yard waste. The program is for residential customers only, business and commercial tree disposal is not permitted, the city said.
