Police Search For Witnesses After Man's Death In Boulder
A man died after a "fatal altercation," Boulder police said.

BOULDER, CO — The Boulder Police Department has launched an investigation after a man's death in the city.
Officers were called to the 700 block of Arapahoe Avenue around 10:35 p.m. Friday after they received a report of an 'altercation' in the area. They found an injured man and he was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.
"Officers and detectives have identified the person responsible in this incident and there is no threat to the community," police said in a news release. "Boulder Police detectives are asking for the public's help regarding the altercation that occurred between this male and other adult males as well as the events leading up to it."

The identity of the man who died has not been released. He was described as a white man with a full beard, around 5-foot-10. He was wearing a suit jacket, pants and a white button-down shirt with no tie, police said. Before the altercation, he was in the area of 9th Street between Pearl Street and Arapahoe Avenue between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., authorities said.
"Detectives are also looking for surveillance or Ring video related to this male or these events as well as anyone who witnessed the altercation in the 700 block of Arapahoe Avenue," the news release read.
