Candlelight: Queen vs. ABBA

The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

Eventually, we recognize that immediacy really means presence. We know Presence by being it. But how do we come to know it, embody it? Through the wisdom of our belly, heart, and mind. Each of these centers can either open us to Presence—or block it. Learn the fundamental skills and techniques behind the art of bonsai while enjoying a night out with friends! Our teachers will introduce core concepts and guide your experience as you pot, prune, and design your very own bonsai tree! This workshop will be hosted at Sanitas Brewing Company - Lafayette. The new Lafayette Taproom is a haven for craft beer enthusiasts, offering over 18 beers on draft. With several brews crafted on-site using a 10 BBL system and others brought from our original Boulder location, there's a diverse selection of our finest craft beers to enjoy.
The taproom boasts a large outdoor patio spanning over 17,000 square feet, perfect for enjoying a sunny day with friends. To complement our craft beers, we are partnering with Kenny Lou's Deli to offer a delicious variety of food options, ideal for lunch or dinner.
