• Kids First Health Care helps all children at its clinics, regardless of insurance status (denverpost.com) — Families in Brighton can access low-cost pediatric and mental health care right at Brighton High School through Kids First Health Care, which treats all patients under 21 regardless of insurance. The Adams County nonprofit runs nine clinics, helps families enroll in Medicaid, and is planning an expansion in Westminster. Staff emphasize long-term relationships, comprehensive care, and never turning children away. 
• Basketball Game Preview: Evergreen Cougars vs. Longmont Trojans (maxpreps.com) — Evergreen’s boys basketball team recently faced several Front Range opponents, including a 22-point outing against Brighton on December 5, and now turns its attention to a road matchup at Longmont on Thursday.
