Broomfield's 'Adopt-A-Senior' program delivers joy and connection during the holidays (denver7.com) — Broomfield seniors in need of connection are being matched with local volunteers through Senior Resources of Broomfield’s growing “Adopt-A-Senior” holiday gift program. With 310 seniors participating this year and gift drop-offs set for Dec. 21–22 at Presbyterian Church in Broomfield, organizers stress the effort is about combating isolation as much as providing presents.
   

3. A Monarch goalie, Holy Family swimmer & hoops from Broomfield and Silver Creek shining early this winter (broomfieldenterprise.com) — Broomfield High’s girls basketball team is off to a 6–0 start and ranked No. 1 in 6A, led by standout sophomores Reece Gilpatrick and Addison Esping. A Monarch hockey star, Silver Creek’s record-setting scorer, and Holy Family and Broomfield swimmers are also turning heads early in the winter season across the region.
   

4. The Pipeline: Commercial real estate deals for 12.19.25 (businessden.com subscription) — A Broomfield commercial building at 11101 W. 120th Ave. just landed a new tenant, defense-tech firm Anduril Industries, in a 4,111-square-foot lease. It’s one of several notable Front Range real estate deals this week, including major apartment sales in Denver, Brighton, and other suburbs.
   

5. Colorado housing market experiences sluggish sales amid holiday slowdown (denverpost.com) — Broomfield’s housing market is holding relatively steady, with homes selling faster than in neighboring Boulder and prices mostly flat or slightly up. A new statewide report shows Colorado’s market slowing for the holidays, with longer listing times, small price adjustments, and more seller concessions, but overall conditions stabilizing heading into 2026.
