On December 28, 2022, Deputy Kraig Conger tragically passed away after suffering a major heart attack while on duty. Throughout his 22-year career at Arapahoe County's Detention Facility, Kraig served with passion and dedication, most recently assigned to the Detention Service Bureau's ADMIT program. He touched the lives of so many in the community and will be deeply missed.

Deputy Conger is survived by his wife Leslie, son Kaleb (17) and daughter Hannah (14). In an effort to honor Deputy Conger's memory and support his family, Scott Leudtke has organized a fundraiser, which started on December 31, 2022. All donations will be directed to the Conger family and any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
