2 Arrested In Connection With Deadly Shooting Outside Coors Field
Two people were shot, one fatally, outside Gate A at Coors Field Friday night, police said.

DENVER, CO — Two men were arrested Monday in connection with a fatal shooting outside Coors Field.
Rayvell Powell, 30, and Javon Price, 21, each face first-degree murder charges after a double shooting Friday that left one person dead, Denver police said.
Shots were fired outside Gate A, near 22nd and Blake streets, around 10:30 p.m. — around an hour after the game ended, police said.

Two men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds and one of them died, authorities said. The other man, who police described as "an uninvolved bystander," suffered injuries that weren't life-threatening, police said.
The man who was killed was involved in an argument with Powell and Price, according to preliminary information released by police.

The identity of the man who was killed has not been released. He was a contracted concessions worker at the baseball stadium, but police said they don't believe the shooting was related to his job.
