Back To School: Boulder 2021-22 School Calendar

BOULDER, CO — Students have already begun their return to schools in Boulder, and calendars are available to help parents prepare for the upcoming school year in Boulder Valley School District and St. Vrain Valley Schools.

St. Vrain students began returning to school Tuesday, and the following schedule was announced for the Boulder Valley School District:

• Wednesday, Aug. 18 - K-5, 6 and 9 grades return to school.
• Thursday, Aug. 19 - K, 7, 8, 10-12 grades return to school.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Boulder.

Boulder Valley School District

First Days: Aug. 18 and 19

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 to 26

Winter Break: Dec. 20 to 31

Spring Break: March 21 to 25

Last Day: May 26
