Denver Named 10th Coolest City: Forbes
San Francisco was ranked the coolest city in the U.S.

DENVER, CO -- Forbes magazine this week named Denver the 10th coolest city in the U.S.
The list of the country's coolest cities, which was compiled with the help of Sperling's Best Place, evaluated 100 of the largest metropolitan cities. Researchers evaluated the cities on nine metrics such as mass transit, eateries and recreation.
After looking at the metrics, the magazine named San Francisco. Seattle was ranked second with San Diego and New Orleans ranked third and fourth.

Denver came in 10th place for its youth, coffee shops and breweries. But the city is weak when it comes to small business growth, locally-owned restaurants and diversity, according to Forbes magazine.
