Donors Affected In Denver Museum Data Breach: Report
The museum warned donors of a data breach.

DENVER, CO -- Roughly 800 people, including donors, may have had their personal information stolen during a data breach at the Denver Art Museum, according to a Denver Post report.
In a letter to donors and employees, the museum "informed recipients of the 'data security incident' over the summer, as well as the museum’s discovery of the breach on Sept. 13, which triggered a forensic investigation by an unnamed third-party firm," according to the article.
The information that was possibly accessible to hackers include financial and personal information, according to the article.

Andrea Fulton, chief marketing officer for the museum, told the Post information was breached via email. As of Oct. 31, the museum, has not notified the police, the newspaper reported.
The Denver Art Museum did not immediately respond to Patch requesting comment.
