• A Fairplay cafe that has been a neighbor for over 20 years has been destroyed by fire (denver7.com) — A devastating fire has destroyed Fairplay’s longtime Mr. Burro Cafe, leaving owner Mily Romero and her six employees suddenly without their livelihood. Neighbors describe the loss as feeling like a death in the community, but residents are rallying around the staff and a GoFundMe has been launched to help them rebuild. The cafe’s future isn’t certain, yet support across this small town is already strong.
