• New Florence City Manager Lori Cobler: ‘I'm going to hit the ground running' (canoncitydailyrecord.com) — Florence’s city council has appointed longtime finance director and hometown native Lori Cobler as the new city manager, with her tenure beginning January 5. She’s rolling out a detailed 100‑day plan focused on transparency, communication, and infrastructure, including major repairs and funding for the aging Florence Municipal Pool, which now serves much of eastern Fremont County.

What do people do, weekends? I'm running into the working person's trap of only being free on weekends, but not much in the area happening, reliably… (Nextdoor Main - Pikes Peak) - My friends’ daughter moved out and brought her cat with them, but he seems to be trying a “Homeward Bound” and hasn’t been seen for a few days!
They only moved a short distance away, less than a couple miles down the road from Cotton Tail Trail. My friends still live on Cotton Tail Trail… (Nextdoor Main - Pikes Peak)
