GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)– The first day of in-person school was over for some students before it even began. There was a power outage at Ralston Elementary School in Golden on Tuesday morning.

When it became clear the lights wouldn’t be on for a while, the school sent the children home with a grab-and-go lunch.
