LAKEWOOD, CO — While many millennials struggle with affordability in the housing market, there are some cities in the United States where young adults are bucking that trend. Between 2009 and 2018, the homeownership rate for Lakewood residents between ages 18 and 34 dropped 0.05 percent; however nearly 30 percent of people living in Lakewood are millennials, according to the report.
