Why are you seeking elective office?
I thoroughly love getting things done for people.
The single most pressing issue facing our city is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
As identified by a recent large citizen survey, people are most concerned about managing traffic and preserving neighborhoods. My approach to complex issues is always to gather data, create a plan, and get busy doing it.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Much of the city council and mayor job done well is pure customer service--getting citizens what they want or need pleasantly and quickly. I did that for 27 years as a Honeywell technical sales manager, loved it, and won many awards from my customers.
How do you think local officials are performing in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?
I am pleased with Littleton's response to covid and wouldn't do anything differently.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Apparently everyone else was asleep, including the airport tower. I had no training for this! I ran over to the window and searched the sky and ice runway--nothing. I hurried back to the radio and gasped, "Permission to land--I guess." A few minutes later I got a call from the airport tower asking, "Uh, did we just land a plane?" I expected to be in a lot of trouble the next day, but nothing more was ever said.

You can do it!
