Why are you seeking elective office?

I want to continue giving back to Littleton and help keep us on course.

The single most pressing issue facing our city is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The most pressing current issue is our declining Capitol Fund. I've volunteered to run a campaign as Registered Agent to pass the issue. Most pressing issue is finishing the ULUC. I'm participating now as a citizen now and hope to continue as a council member.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have vastly more experience working with the city and city council, having gone to every council meeting for the last 15 years. This is because I'm "mature" and he is young. I respect my competitor and believe he is contributing to the city now on the Next Generation Advisory Committee.

How do you think local officials are performing in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?

I believe local officials are doing a fine job on the coronavirus. I would only back their efforts.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

I'm concerned that we do a good job of overseeing the four developments that are coming along S. Santa Fe Drive; Aspen Grove, intersection with Mineral and the two developments on the Ensor property.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My background of experience as an engineer. Attending council meetings for 15 years, studying and giving testimony on various projects. Following the city revenue reports as they come out.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Stay out of politics.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a moderate, middle of the road guy. Frugal with my finances, and would be with the city's. I'm for small business as they are Littleton's backbone, and for a rational amount of development that is good for Littleton.
