South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPR) is investigating the replacement of the Littleton Golf and Tennis Clubhouse. Constructed in 1985, the 36-year old structure consisted of a 45,000 square foot air-supported structure with an attached 1,500 square foot clubhouse. The tennis bubble was destroyed by high winds in December. The intent is to replace the air-structure and clubhouse with a pre-engineered metal building. No uses within the building or on-site are proposed to change. The six indoor tennis courts will remain in the current configuration. The clubhouse will be reoriented and minimally increased in size to enlarge the kitchen and bar area, improve circulation and layout, and provide an outdoor seating area.
