Clement Park Suspicious Package Investigation: All-Clear Given

Deputies were investigating a package found in a Jefferson County park, but deemed it was safe, officials said.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — An all-clear was given at Clement Park after the area was evacuated Wednesday morning for a suspicious package investigation.

"The suspicious package has been determined not to be a threat," the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a tweet.

The park was cleared out as a precaution until deputies could determine it was safe.

No road closures were reported near the park, which is next to Columbine High School.

No further details about the investigation were released.
