Construction Begins On C470 Sound Wall In Littleton
Work has begun on the $3.5 million project.

LITTLETON, CO — Crews have begun work on the new C470 sound wall in Littleton. The 2,600 wall is designed to deflect noise along the highway from Lucent Boulevard to Santa Fe Drive.
The $3.5 million project also includes a new trail along C470 from Santa Fe Drive to Wadsworth Boulevard, officials said. The trail concrete will be replaced and a new pedestrian rail will be installed.
The sound wall project will also include improvements to the I-25 ramp onto C470. More than 280 tons of mill and fill will be placed in the three travel lanes, officials said.
