Deputy Shoots, Injures Suspect In Jefferson County
An investigation is underway after a shooting on West Bowles Avenue.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — A deputy shot and wounded someone early Thursday morning in Jefferson County, authorities said. The person's condition is not known.
The shooting occurred in the 8000 block of West Bowles Avenue, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
There is no threat to the public, deputies said.

The identity and gender of the person who was shot has not yet been released.
The suspect was shot "during a confrontation with deputies and transported to a hospital," the sheriff's office said in a tweet send at 4 a.m.
