DUI Destruction Spree: Littleton Man, 19, Hit 2 Garages, Cars

Kyle Frendberg hit several other cars and garages in a drunken driving incident Wednesday, sheriff's officials said.

LITTLETON, CO – A 19-year-old Littleton man is facing DUI charges after the car he was driving ran into multiple houses and other cars Wednesday night in Littleton, the Douglas County Sheriff's office said.

On March 27, at around 10:35 pm, deputies responded to Copeland Street and Sanderling Way after a white Jeep Cherokee had crashed into multiple cars and smashed through the garages of two houses, the sheriff's office said.

Kyle Frendberg, 19, of Littleton was found behind the wheel. Investigators figured out that Frendberg was involved in an earlier hit-and-run crash near South Broadway and County line Road that same night.

Fortunately, there were no serious injuries in either incident, the sheriff's office said.

Frendburg was booked in the Douglas County jail facing charges of DUI driving with alcohol or drugs (or both), plus counts of reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and having pot and booze in his possession, as well as drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held on a $1000 bond, the sheriff's office said.
