Escaped JeffCo Juvenile Found In Littleton
A 15-year-old described as a "violent offender" fled custody in Golden and was found 24-hours later.
LITTLETON, CO - A 15-year-old escaped Jefferson County juvenile detention inmate, described as a "violent offender," was taken into custody Friday in Littleton.
With the help of Littleton police, Golden police were able to find and arrest Devon Brock, who slipped away Thursday around 10:15 a.m. while taken to visit the Golden Dept. of Motor Vehicles office, police said.
The search for Brock locked down two schools as JeffCo sheriff's officers searched the area with K-9 dogs Thursday. He will be returned to Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center.

Brock, formerly from El Paso County, was sentenced to the Division of Youth Corrections in June of 2018, then transferred to the Youth Facility in Golden in October, 2018. His mandatory release date had been scheduled for June 2020, the Golden police said in a statement. He will likely face additional charges because of his escape.
