Firefighters Drop in on Memory Care Seniors
Willowbrook Place residents enjoyed connecting with local firefighters when they stopped in for a visit.
Residents at a Littleton Memory Care community were delighted when the fire department rolled up to their community. Firefighters from South Metro Fire Station 12 stopped by Willowbrook Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, for a friendly visit and to show off their equipment to the seniors.
“It was a wonderful way for our residents to build a relationship with the first responders,” said Leslie Rusher, life engagement director for Willowbrook Place. “Our seniors and staff had a blast trying on the gear and getting an up-close view of the fire engine. They also took the opportunity to thank them for all that they do for the community.”
Willowbrook Place is located at 5275 S. Kipling Pkwy, Littleton.
