Generous Wind Crest Residents Support Students' Futures Through Scholarship Fund

Wind Crest student employees are supported through scholarship fund

Fifty-six local high school graduates were recently honored as Student Scholars at Wind Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Highlands Ranch, CO.

These dedicated student team members, who worked as servers and hosts across the community’s nine on-campus restaurants, demonstrated outstanding commitment to service and professionalism.

To recognize their dedication and propel their promising futures, community residents generously donated $430,000 to the Student Scholarship Fund to award students. The Resident Advisory Council and committee played a key role in selecting this year's scholarship recipients.

“The students here are smart, work hard, and my favorite characteristic, they banter well with residents,” says Wind Crest resident Spud Van de Water. “I enjoy getting to know them, learning their college plans and seeing them mature right before my eyes.”

To qualify for a four-year scholarship, a student must work a minimum number of hours, maintain good academic and professional standing, and plan to attend a college, university, or trade school on a full-time basis.
