Have Your Say In Plan To Improve Santa Fe and Mineral Ave.

The City of Littleton seeks your thoughts on possible solutions for the intersection. Go online, or meet in person at South Platte Park.

LITTLETON, CO – Traffic is a nightmare at the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and Mineral Avenue, and the City of Littleton wants to do something about it. As part of the overhaul of the Santa Fe Drive corridor, the city's Department of Public Works is seeking public input for possible solutions for the intersection.

It's all part of a partnership with Arapahoe County and the Colorado Department of Transportation. The city is required to conduct a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study to be conducted starting next year for the Santa Fe Drive corridor. Comments will be considered by engineering firm HDR, Inc. that specializes in intersection design. According to the city, "[HDR] will assess the current traffic and pedestrian demands related to commuter, transit and recreational uses in the area."
