According to HLI, the tour will allow attendees to travel back in time, learning about buildings, lives and events of the past while walking through the newly-established Littleton Downton Historic District.

"During the tour, you will learn about the history of the buildings, including the architecture and the people who owned them," HLI said in a statement.

On July 21, the organization will host a dog-friendly walk along the City Ditch, Littleton's oldest physical structure.

The event will last from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and feature Murdock, the first honorary dog mayor of Littleton, a basset hound who was elected in 2021.

Participants are asked to meet at the Community Trail trailhead parking lot at Lower Ridgewood Park, which is located north of St. Mary's Church, along Lee Gulch Trail.

The walk will take place along the Littleton Community Trail, which parallels the City Ditch.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by emailing historiclittleton@gmail.com. Organizers said human participants should wear comfortable shoes.
