Lautenbach Insurance Agency Earns Make More Happen™ Award for Supporting Wellspring Community

Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance have awarded Lautenbach Insurance Agency a 2025 Make More Happen Award for its dedicated partnership with Wellspring Community, a nonprofit that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, productive, and satisfying lives. This recognition includes a $5,000 donation to Wellspring Community, which can be doubled to $10,000 through online support from the community.

The Lautenbach Insurance Agency and Wellspring Community story is featured on the official Make More Happen microsite at https://www.agentgiving.com/lautenbach-insurance-agency/, where supporters can vote to help the team reach their donation goal. If the story receives at least 500 combined votes and comments, the $5,000 donation will be increased to $10,000.

For close to a decade, Lautenbach Insurance Agency has been more than just an insurance provider—it has been a steadfast partner in Wellspring’s growth and success. For more than five years, Lautenbach has sponsored Wellspring’s galas and contributed donations since its founding in 2008. The agency also is a frequent supporter at Wellspring’s morning meetings and patron of its bakery program. One of the most impactful moments in the partnership came when Lautenbach connected Wellspring with a client who generously donated 3.5 acres of land. This remarkable gift enabled Wellspring to expand their garden classes by offering space for their greenhouses. Through this involvement, the agency has witnessed firsthand how participants gain confidence, employment, and a stronger sense of self.

With a $10,000 Make More Happen Award, Wellspring can offset relocation and build-out costs to a new standalone facility, ensuring its participants continue to have a supportive, empowering environment where they can thrive.

Throughout 2025, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance will select up to 36 independent agencies nationwide for a Make More Happen Award, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofits they support. Agencies become eligible for the award by submitting applications showcasing their commitment to a specific cause.
