Littleton 2021 Election: Petitions Certified For 9 Candidates

For the first time in Littleton's history, voters will directly elect their mayor.

LITTLETON, CO — Littleton's city clerk has certified the petitions for nine City Council candidates running for the Nov. 2 election.

Littleton voters approved a measure in the November 2020 election that changes how the mayor will be elected. For the first time in the city's history, council members won't appoint the mayor — voters will elect the mayor.

Nov. 2 will be a coordinated mail ballot election with Arapahoe, Jefferson and Douglas counties. Ballots are scheduled to be sent out Oct. 11.
