Littleton Candlelight Walk: Schedule, Performances, Festivities

The 37th annual holiday event will include a parade, live music, free hot cider, real reindeer, and of course, a visit from Santa.

LITTLETON, CO — Littleton's 37th annual Candlelight Walk returns Friday evening with plenty of festive activities and traditions.

The Candlelight Walk will feature a parade down Main Street, Santa, dancing elves, real reindeer and festive drinks, organizers said.

The event will also include music from the Heritage High School Brass and the Littleton High School Choir.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for holiday shopping, and pick up free hot cider and 50 cent candles at Bradford Auto Body, which is also collecting non-perishable foot items for Integrated Family Community Services.

Main Street will be closed to traffic at 4 p.m. Entertainment is set to start at 5:30 p.m., and the parade starts at 6:30 p.m.

Cider, hot chocolate and 50 cent candles will also be offered at Bega Park, courtesy of Western Welcome Week, organizers said.

The evening will also include the annual tree lighting in Bowles Plaza (at the west end of Main Street). Santa will be available after for photos at the Town Hall Arts Center.

Parking is available at Arapahoe Community College or the Littleton Center. Attendees can also take light rail and make the quick walk from the downtown light rail station.
