Littleton Emergency Alerts: Officials Urge ArapAlert Signups
Littleton residents are urged to sign up for alerts that warn of severe weather, major crime and other emergencies.
LITTLETON, CO — Arapahoe County officials are reminding residents to sign up for ArapAlert — a notification system that warns of dangerous weather and other emergencies.
ArapAlert, which is used by the Littleton Police Department and South Metro Fire Rescue, allows agencies to text, call or email the alerts to residents.
The CodeRED emergency notification system is offered to Littleton residents in Jefferson and Douglas counties, and ArapAlert is offered to Littleton residents in Arapahoe County.

The systems are designed to send alerts about floods, fires, chemical spills, dangerous suspects, evacuations, disasters and other emergencies.
