Littleton Officer Shooting: Suspect Arrested Friday Night

Rigoberto Valles Dominguez was taken into custody without incident for the attempted murder of Officer David Snook and Corporal Jeff Farmer.

LITTLETON, CO — The suspect accused of attempting to murder Officer David Snook and Corporal Jeff Farmer last week was arrested Friday night.

The Brighton Police Department received information at around 3:45 p.m. Friday that Rigoberto Valles Dominguez, the suspect accused of shooting Officer David Snook, was in a home along the 1100 block of 27th Avenue, officials said.

At around 10:40 p.m., the Brighton Police Department and several other agencies took Valles Dominguez, 33, into custody "without incident" for the attempted murder of Snook and Corporal Jeff Farmer, officials said.

"The Littleton Police Department would like to thank Adams County, the cities of Aurora and Brighton, and partners with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for their tireless work and support in this case," officials said on the city of Littleton website.

Snook was shot at least three times early Sept. 21 while he and Farmer were responding to a report of shots fired in the area of South Bannock Street and West Powers Avenue.
