Man Found Dead In Englewood Monday Morning, Suspect Arrested
Lucious Malveaux, Jr., 27, was arrested on a murder charge after police found a man who "may have died from blunt force trauma to his body."
ENGLEWOOD, CO — A man has been taken into custody on charges including first-degree murder after an Englewood man was found dead on Monday morning.
At around 10:30 a.m. Monday, Englewood Police located the deceased male when they were dispatched to a welfare check at 50 West Hampden Avenue, police said.
Officials said it appeared that the man may have died from blunt force trauma to his body.

Through interviews, Englewood Detectives and other officials determined a person of interest in the case, 27-year-old Lucious Malveaux, Jr.
Police arrested Malveaux Monday night "without incident" on first-degree murder and other charges, officials said. Malveaux was later transported to the Arapahoe County Detention Facility.

The identity of the deceased male will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office, officials said.
