Man Nabbed In Texas For JeffCo Homicide: Sheriff
Blake Quinlan, 18, was arrested in Sherman County, Texas after the body of missing man Joseph Brinson, 28, was found in Byers.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO– An 18-year-old man was booked into the Jefferson County jail Thursday facing first-degree murder charges in the death of a JeffCo-area man who's been missing since January.
Blake Quinlan, 18, was being held in the Sherman County jail in Texas on unrelated charges and was transported to JeffCo April 4 after investigators linked him to the death of Joseph Brinson, 28.
Brinson's body was found in Byers, Colorado on April 3, the sheriff's office said.

Last week, the sheriff's office had asked the public for help finding Brinson, who was last seen on Jan. 17 at his home in the 9000 block of Mica Mine Gulch Road near Littleton. A family member reported him missing on Jan. 23, a statement from the sheriff's office said.
