Columbine Lockouts Lifted After Search For Suspect: Sheriff
Lockouts have ended in Jefferson County after a search for an armed robbery suspect, deputies said.

COLUMBINE, CO — All lockouts were lifted in the Columbine area Monday morning after a search for an armed robbery suspect, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
"Deputies searching for armed robbery suspect, believed to have now left the area," the sheriff's office said in a tweet at 11:55 a.m.
"Residents and schools can resume normal activities."

Deputies were searching for the suspect near West Coal Mine Avenue and South Pierce Street, deputies said.
Schools in the area were on lockout as a precaution, the sheriff's office said.

The robbery occurred at Smoker Friendly in the 6000 block of West Coal Mine Avenue, deputies said.
