Loveland Tanning Salon Attack Leaves Employee Seriously Injured (mix1043fm.com) — Loveland residents should know that a 21-year-old employee at Endless Summer Tanning on Madison Avenue was seriously injured after an alleged hammer and knife attack that also hurt a customer. Police arrested a 20-year-old suspect at the scene, and he now faces multiple serious felony charges while officials continue to monitor the victims’ conditions.

New Loveland mayor addresses council decorum, homelessness at Issues on Tap (reporterherald.com) — Loveland’s new mayor, Pat McFall, is promising to calm City Council tensions and refocus decisions on what he calls the city’s core services and financial realities. The log also lists shoplifting, DUI, drug, theft, burglary, graffiti, and assault calls across multiple Loveland neighborhoods over the weekend and Monday.

Chapungu Sculpture Park (atlasobscura.com) — Loveland’s Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra offers residents a free, 26‑acre outdoor gallery of 82 Zimbabwean stone sculptures set among thousands of native plants and abundant wildlife. The park, opened in 2007 through a partnership with Loveland’s arts community, reinforces the city’s international reputation for sculpture and public art, all just a short walkable escape close to home.
   

5. Refresh Retreats let pastors rest, reenter ministry fully charged (baptistpress.com) — A Loveland church-planting couple from River Church says NAMB’s Refresh Retreats gave them much-needed rest, deeper conversations, and renewed spiritual focus before returning to ministry on the Front Range. The three-day getaways, held at sites like North Carolina’s The Cove and San Diego, are designed to help pastors and spouses step away from nonstop church demands and reenter their work recharged.
