• Morning fire destroys Mancos home; no injuries reported (durangoherald.com) — An early-morning fire on East Sunset Drive in Mancos destroyed a trailer home and four cars, but all residents escaped without injury and have temporary shelter. About 15 firefighters from Mancos and Cortez contained the blaze, while local officials and utility crews secured the scene and neighbors looked on, relieved no one was hurt.
