• Rockfall mitigation project to protect vehicles, pedestrians underway in Manitou Springs (krdo.com) — Lovers Lane in Manitou Springs is now partially protected by new concrete barriers and a temporary one-way traffic pattern as the city tackles dangerous rockfall risks along the west end of the street. After two parked vehicles were crushed by rocks in August, crews are working between Lafayette Road and Cañon Avenue to shield drivers and pedestrians while officials refine long-term plans.
