• Colorado's draft 10-year transportation plan includes $300 million in funding for major projects on I-70 and across Western Slope (postindependent.com) — State transportation planners are proposing more than $23 million in I-70 interchange upgrades at Silt and New Castle, aiming to ease backups and improve safety at Exit 105. Over the next decade, Western Slope highways would see over $300 million in work, including Glenwood Canyon repairs and West Vail Pass safety projects that affect New Castle drivers’ regional travel.

Known for his love of the outdoors, family, and storytelling, he leaves behind a large, close-knit family and many friends who will honor him at a later Celebration of Life.
