The child died days after being found unconscious with visible injuries at a Pueblo West home, and the boy’s mother is scheduled for trial in 2026.
   

• In Memory of Myrtle Schulze (wetmountaintribune.com) — Longtime rancher and devoted family matriarch Myrtle Frances Schulze, 97, recently spent part of her later years at Capella Pueblo West Assisted Living before passing away in Colorado Springs. Her life spanned New Mexico, Westcliffe, and beyond, marked by ranching, travel, dancing, and deep commitment to family, church, and community service.
