• Colorado's draft 10-year transportation plan includes $300 million in funding for major projects on I-70 and across Western Slope (postindependent.com) — Silt drivers could see long-awaited safety and congestion fixes at the I-70 Exit 97 interchange under Colorado’s new 10-year transportation plan, which sets aside $23 million for Silt and New Castle ramps and signage. The broader Western Slope package totals more than $300 million, funding guardrail and pavement upgrades through Glenwood Canyon and several other major highway safety projects across Region 3.
