NEW HARTFORD, CT — A bear was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Litchfield Turnpike in New Hartford on Friday morning, according to multiple reports, including WFSB 3.

WFSB reports the crash happened around 9:30 a.m.

The vehicle was damaged, but the driver wasn’t injured, according to NBC Connecticut.
