Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) New England/Westchester/New York/Hudson Valley Properties announced today that executive leader Gregg Wagner is taking on new responsibilities in an expanded role as Senior Vice President and Director of New Homes, Land and Commercial.

Wagner, an esteemed real estate professional who has held transformative leadership positions with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices since he joined the company in 2018, will focus on expanding the firm’s commercial real estate division across all markets – as well as bringing BHHS’s award-winning new homes and land expertise to the region.

Originally from Greenwich, Conn., Wagner has more than 30 years of experience in real estate, including residential and commercial sales and brokerage management, land acquisition and entitlement, project development, and investment research and valuation.

As evidenced by the myriad of awards and distinctions he has earned throughout the course of his career, Wagner has been an inimitable force within the industry. At the end of last year, for example, he and fellow leaders of the company’s New Development Division received a series of top honors at the 2021 Home Building Industry (HOBI) Awards, including “Best Marketed Community.”

Wagner first started with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices as Regional Vice President and Director of New Homes and Land, expanding the firm’s new home projects footprint throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Westchester New York. Wagner previously held senior leadership positions at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Sotheby’s International Realty. He has been a member of numerous professional associations, including an AI (Appraisal Institute) Associate Member, CCIM (Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute) CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CNHS (Certified New Homes Specialist), CRB (Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers), CRS (Council of Residential Specialists), CSP (NAHB-Certified Sales Professional), NAHB/HBA (National Association of Home Builders) Hartford County, Connecticut, ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers), NAR (National Association of Realtors), RLI (Realtors Land Institute), RCC (Residential Construction Certification), SRES (Senior Residential Specialist), WRRSC (World Wide Recreation & Resort Sales Council).

Wagner attended Drew University and the University of Lund in Lund, Sweden. He has been a member of many professional associations including the Appraisal Institute, the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, Certified Commercial Investment Member, National Association of Home Builders, Realtors Land Institute, and the National Association of Realtors. He continues to be a licensed real estate broker in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, South Carolina, and Massachusetts.
